Working On The Wire is an original cinematic music experience created by Cing Julian as part of the Runtime Experiences collection.

This immersive runtime follows a veteran electrician nearing retirement after spending decades building, repairing, and maintaining the systems that powered homes, businesses, and communities. Through early mornings, storms, long days, and countless service calls, he devoted his life to honest work, dependable service, and providing for his family. Now, with his tools hanging quietly and the years behind him, he reflects on a career filled with purpose and pride.

Set against a backdrop of golden sunsets, utility poles, rural roads, front porches, rocking chairs, family memories, and the quiet beauty of country life, the experience blends traditional country storytelling, emotional reflection, working-class values, and visual symbolism into a journey that celebrates dedication, craftsmanship, gratitude, and legacy.

The title “Working On The Wire” serves as the central metaphor of the story — representing both the literal trade of an electrician and the lifelong balancing act of responsibility, sacrifice, family, and perseverance. The song honors the men and women whose work often goes unnoticed but whose efforts help keep the world running every day.
